Choosing a Style for your Company Website

One of the main considerations when you are choosing a style of website for your company is that, if the site has graphics or embellishments then these should reflect the nature of the company, or the company's products or services.

So this style might be perfect for a building supplies company, or a small builder--but probably not a good idea for a watch repairer, or a psychotherapist .  Photos can make your site a really effective shop window for your work.

On your website, each of the buttons on the left could be clicked to go to other pages on the site--you might think about what would be the appropriate page titles for a site about your business.  How do you make your website stand out from the competition?  What is your potential customer looking for?

Well, after two very straightforward styles of website for a particular kinds of business (four if you count my own practice website and the site of the British Institute of Provocative Therapy), I hope that you will forgive me for having a little fun with the next one.

I have said that the style of page you choose will be seen as a reflection of your business.  I wonder what impression you would get of a business who had a website like the next page?  The one certainty is that it would certainly be memorable...
