It's a very poignant song - Michelle thinks it's about a couple who were
going to run off together, and he changes his mind at the last moment. So
she wonders what might have been.
Michelle is a very happy-go-lucky character- someone once told her that her
perennial optimism is a form of mental illness! - but she does have a
penchant for sad, wistful songs...
